This domain emphasizes awareness rising of people through mobilization, workshops, trainings and meetings about health conditions, water related issues (Importance of use of safe water, management of hydraulic infrastructures.), promotion of hygiene and sanitation and protection of environment.
This is done through water extraction, water collection and water distribution among stakeholders especially in remote rural areas.
Main activities conducted by hydraulic program in this domain are: Construction of modern and persistent toilettes especially on fragile and rocky soil in poor households and public centers. Wastes from those toilettes are used as fertilizers after their degradation. Installation of hand washing devices and dustbins. Distribution of water filters for water treatment in households, schools and health centers.
The main activities conducted in this domain are: Trees planting on steep slopes areas as well as on water bodies riparian: to reduce consequences from soil erosion as well as landslides and rock falls. Rain water harvesting by installation of water storage dams, to reduce rain water speed, mitigate fluvial erosion, and store water for irrigation during dry seasons.
